This story was told from the perspective of Christopher Boone, an autistic and intellectually gifted boy. One day he discovered a dog, dead, presumably killed by a garden fork. Christopher decided he wanted to investigate the death of the dog and find the culprit. Along the way through his investigation, he found the truth behind the lies that he believed all this time.

I really liked this book. Each chapter is uniquely numbered with prime numbers instead of real numbers (the reason is going to be explained in the story). When I first started, it was difficult for me to keep on reading, because a lot of math equations are used to explain things that happen in this story (p.s. I hate math). Other than that, I would say this book is very very interesting and sometimes heartwarming, and also seeing the world through Christopher’s eye is making me question how I see the world too.

To end this brief review here is my favorite quote from this story: “And this means that time is a mystery, and not even a thing, and no one has ever solved the puzzle of what time is, exactly. and so, if you get lost in time it is like being lost in a desert, except that you can’t see the desert because it is not a thing. And this is why I like timetables, because they make sure you don’t get lost in time”
